adidas Consortium 3Way Project – Group 2

Adidas has teamed up Goodfoot Huf, DQM, and Undefeated, four of the most recognizable and respected sneaker retailers and boutiques across North America each representing it’s hometown Canada, San Francisco, New York and LA on five classic adidas kicks, The Stan Smith, Samba, Superstar, Nizza and the Forum. While most of the shoes in the collection sport a very simple and clean color combination, the Forum gets the all-star treatment. DQM contributed the pin stripe pattern representing the Yankees seen along the lower half of the shoe, while Huf holds down the toebox with a gold chain pattern. Goodfoot throws in a African graffiti print along the sidepanels and heel strap. Last but not least Undefeated does the tongue justice with it’s red and white on black Undefeated ‘U’ thats run under the Adidas 3 stripe.

Next we have the Stan Smith, done up in a very simple off-white rough suede upper to pay homage to the O.G release the shoe had it’s 3 stripes removed as well as the Mug of Stan Smith that once sat on the tongue, instead the Adidas logo as well as it’s partners on this project are represented.

Following the Stan Smith is the Nizza. Making it’s exclusive return specifically for this project the Nizza sports a grey fleece material on the upper and sits on a classic white midsole. Again both Adidas as well as, DQM, Undefeated, Huf, and Goodfoot are represented on the tongue.

Next is the Samba, and again it’s design has been kept simple. Sporting a solid black textile material again the 3 stripe logo has been removed and the Partners are represented on the tongue logo.

Last is everyone’s favorite Adidas, the Supertar. over the years the Superstar just like many classic kicks has had it’s fair share of re workings and facelifts but this time around the classic has been kept very simple and clean in that “less is more fashion”. Featuring a royal blue nlyon like upper as well as matching suede 3 stripes, the shoes sports a contrasting white on it’s toebox, midsole and heel making the royal that much brighter. Following the trend, Adidas as well as it’s four parters are represented on the tongue logo of the shoe. No word on a release check back for more details
